WEAKER VESSELS

The fact that women are usually physically weaker is undeniable and that they are also sometimes weaker in some other ways is logical. But to say that they are inferior is baseless because I have seen and read about women who have proven this wrong and have demonstrated unimaginable strength. It does not matter whether you are a woman or a weaker vessel, "for even God has chosen the weak things of this world to put to shame the things that are mighty," 1 Corinthians 1:27-28(Paraphrased). Sometimes, I get angry when I see some of these women right activists, not at them but at their cause. Why will you fight for a right that is yours? People will also see you as inferior, when you are just there, doing nothing... Start doing something that will make people hold you in high esteem. Don't just do anything, do something fulfilling. God loves you the way you are, his power is made perfect in your weakness. In fact, I tell you, men are at disadvantage here because we ...

VIBRANT WOMEN

Mandy Hale said, “A busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is so much more attractive than a woman who waits around for a man to validate her existence” I have seen and read about women who have crossed the boundary of inferiority, of gender restraint, and even of societal discrimination Women like Kathryn Kuhlman, Emily Macpherson, Woodworth Ether, Charles Hunter who walked with God and rendered services unto men at their time, through whom God did miracles and saved the lost from destruction, it was said of some of them that there Default appearance produces trembling. These women of like passion had no strength of their own, no political power, no physical power, no gene of genus was found in them. All they had was a mind for God. Sometimes all you need to be extraordinary is a mind for God.     Marie curie, Dr. Mae Jemison, Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh are women who can never be forgotten in ...

LOVE versus LOVE

Someone once said, “Guns don’t kill people, daddies with pretty little girls do.” I began to ponder on this person’s conclusion until I realized that there must have been at least a premise upon which the conclusion was drawn, an antecedent that prompted this assertion. There must have been an experience that had happened time and time again and that has refused to fizzle out with time. The experience of a parenting that is or was full of unalloyed love and care, a nurturing and upbringing that can never be forgotten in the space of time. This pattern of father-to-daughter relationship would have been so cordial and would have created a vacuum in the daughter’s pacemaker that only the father can fit into and which synchronizes their hearts to beat as one. This person in his/her adventure might have encountered a father who never for once leaves her daughter alone, who does not joke with her, a father that can kill for her daughter. A father like a mother,...
