THE ARK OF GOPHER

         Noah! Noah! Noah!
         It’s all over
It’s the end of the human race
         Violence is everywhere

No! No! No!
Do not panic
For your fate has been determined
You and your household
Your fate is a 450 feet long,
Seventy five feet wide,
And a forty five feet high“woodwork’’
The ark of gopher

It is incorruptible, sturdy and durable
Perfect for your inhabitation
At the top, only an eighteen inches window,
A strategic door at the side,
You shall enter
It is your shelter,
Your surest salvation.

Though, I haven’t lived for so long
Very likely, gopher wood doesn’t exist
In fact, no one living has ever seen he antediluvian world
         All living souls are clueless,
         Researchers are left with nothing

But, it is certain, very certain
That the Ark of Gopher is still extant,
Only you have not located Him
        Yes! Him.

Every day, we wallow in our miseries
Anguish from the pangs of sin and neglect
We rise and fall in what we believe
        All we have on us;
Is the regalia of a MASQUERADE
The flood of destruction has come to stay.
       And, the flood is great.

       We clamor for help,
       We sing the help songs
       But, where is the helper?
       Is He 450 meters far?
      Are we 75 meters away?
Or are we 45 feet apart?
We have prayed more than prayer
The helper is extinct, we concluded.
        From dust we came,
      From dust we shall return…

       Halleluyah,
       The helper liveth,
In Him, there are many rooms,
       He is the only one door;
       The door to salvation,
He was nailed the cross “A woodwork”
       He is the only window;
       The link to heavenly communion,
He is our refuge from God’s wrath.

He always was, always is and always will be
Unmoved, unchanged, undefeated and never undone.
The world can’t understand Him
Scientists can’t find Him
Schools can’t explain Him
He walked on water,
And the flood could not sink Him

Jesus is the Ark of Salvation
The door is opened
Enter and be saved
This is your shelter
Your place of rest.
